Victoria Allen - Company Director

Victoria Allen

Victoria graduated from the Manchester Metropolitan University with a BA (HONS) in Drama and Sports Science. Victoria has been involved in many professional stage productions as primarily an actor, but has also developed new work for the stage that has been performed. Victoria's most recent credits being "The Cage birds" and "Sadie" both devised productions performed in Birmingham and London, and scripted pieces such as Ben Elton's "Popcorn" in the role of Brooke Daniels, Mike Cullen's "Anna Weiss" as "Lynn" and Howard Barkers "The Last Supper" as "Anna" to name but a few. Victoria recently completed her gold award in LAMDA examinations and is now working towards the LAMDA Diploma in Speech and Drama Education (L.S.D.E).

Since graduating Victoria has worked with several community groups in the West Midlands. This work has included delivering workshops to primary schools that used methods to enhance knowledge upon a specific topic within drama while improving the young peoples writing, speaking and listening skills. Victoria also developed and delivered a six-week drama-training program to a youth group based in Alsager. The work focused upon social issues with the use of scripts in developing character and improvisational skills. Victoria has worked with young teenage mums with a company called Base Ks where a sketch was produced and then performed at the Birmingham City Council House with great success.

Paula Wall - Company Director

Paula Wall

Paula studied acting, directing and writing at Manchester Metropolitan University to gain a BA (Hons) Degree in Drama and Writing. Paula then went on to complete a diploma in Physical Theatre at the London Academy of Dramatic Arts. Since completing her studies Paula has worked professionally in theatre for over two years. In this time she has worked as an actor, director, writer, technician, educational facilitator and company director. Paula has acted in both theatre and film with various theatre companies alongside her own "Shooting Fish", which she set up alongside others in Lincolnshire. Paula has written and directed productions for the stage and continues to develop new work.

Paula has directed several educational training programs over the past two years in the Lincolnshire area, including a summer school (a three week training program working with ages 10 - 21), Tennessee workshops (focusing upon acting techniques to secondary schools - delivered to GCSE and A Level students) and an Easter program of workshops which contained many elements of physical theatre techniques alongside work with the voice and play scripts (delivered to ages 11 - 25). Paula has worked with a wide variety of theatre companies in Theatre and education including Working Space Theatre and Black Cat where she toured with two Shakespeare plays to secondary schools.
